Min dramakurs

Förra veckan gick jag till en drama kurs. Vi hade en show på fredag, den hätte The Wiz. Jag var den goda häxan, Sapphire. De var ganska svårt att få i ordning för att de var en jätte litet rum bakom scenen. De var också ganska mörkt där inne, annars var det jätte roligt! Ena av mina linjer var „what’s going on around here?“ Jag kommer ihåg att min kompis, Zoë, var den elaka häxan, hon var jätte bra.

Our Holiday in February (Part 2)

On the way to Wales we decided to stop at Wenlock Edge. At first, me and my dad climbed up a BIG cliff,  you could see loads; the view was fantastic!

 

Then we climbed back down again to have our snack. After that, our dad went to look at the view. When he came back he described  it as brilliant and beautiful...and so it was, green fields, the sun in the middle of the sky, excellent.

The next day we desided to go to the sea side (even with quite bad weather...). So we all seated ourselves comfily inside our car and drove off to Criccieth. There was a stony beach, where Richard wanted to collect some rather cool stones, and a big stone castle on the top of a big cliff. At first we walked down the rather-stony-beach, that’s when I got my trousers wet, and then we climed all the way up to Criccieth Castle. 

 

 

 

There the grey waves were seen and Richard fell down into them (not really; he just pretended!) The view here was quite scary, but never mind that! After that, we went to Porthmadog to have a little nibble and a sip.

On the 18th of February we started our journey to Poole. On the way we went through Bath,where there were many different and interesting houses.

Then, at last we saw a beautiul house with two doors: one leading into the middle of the two doors from the outside, the other into the hall. It was such a brilliant house to stay in! 

The next day we went out to Bournemouth. We went for a tour around Poole, but then we parked in Bournemouth to walk on the pier. 

 

After that we walked by the beach huts and later we even saw a enormous silver ball on one of them!

Then we went back to their house, stayed there an other night and then headed back for London to host our guests, Julius, Petra and Ulf from Finland.   

Lilian Skriver om Examen!

Hej alla vänner,

På den 26 Mars jag var lite sjuk men jag vill berätta om vad jag skall gjöra. Jag skall ha min examen och jag skall också ha min födelsedagskalas. Min piano lärare er Mr.Watson och jag lär många stycken på piano. I examen jag måste spela tre stycken på piano.

Our holiday in February (part one)

    
      

When it was half term I had loads of fun and did lots of exciting things, so I didn't even have time to write about it! We started off driving up to Bourton-on-the-Water, which is a small village in the west of England. There we stayed for one night with my parents' friends, Steve and Myra. But don't think that we just stayed indoors, stairing at the ceiling, oh no,we did much more than that! The first day there (or maybe I have to call it evening) we only had time to play games after dinner, so the next day we set off to explore. The first things we saw were many stone, low bridges that were low because of all the rain that had caused a flood. 

 

The flood had even moved to the streets where cars drive, so many cars were forced to drive down another way. 

 

While we were walking from bridge to bridge, we kept feeding ducks that were swimming up and down the stream. There were quite few of them, because it must have been strange to see your own lake extend without expecting it. After having a walk over the interesting bridges, we decided to warm ourselves by having a little look inside the Motor Museum that was just by us.We saw loads of interesting and cool cars from the 20th century, some of them were huge, but my favourite one was a small, red car with, believe it or not, three wheels, it even drove on the roads in its good old days!

 

      

 Then, when we arrived back to Steve and Myra’s house we packed up our things and started our journey to Wales. Our new hosts were now Richard (our dad's friend) and Karen.

Hello readers!

I was asked to write in English because my friends are learning it. I have done loads and I am going to tell you everything: on Friday we had a guest at our house, her name was Kadi. On Saturday we had nearly a whole family here, their names were Ingrid, Mia, Maria and Mirta. All of our guests were from Estonia. On Sunday we had a party, 'cos it was my Grandpa's birthday.

Note from the editor: Margarethe wrote this in February but I am sorry to say that I lost the piece of paper she wrote it on and have now just discovered it, so here it is. More from us soon. In the mean time, here is a picture of Margarethe, Lilian and their mum with their friend Steve in Bourton-on-the-Water, later in February, when we went to stay with them. Hej igen,

Den 31 December gick vi till min pappas brors hus i Saffron Walden, 40 miler från London. Där firade vi nytt år. Där vi åkso fira min pappas,  brors, frus, mammas, födelsedags kalas. hon hadde ett stort ballong sju och ett stort ballong noll. Vi åkso hadde ett stort, jätte gott lunch. Vi gjorde många andra roliga saker. Som: på nytt år vi titta på TV och såg Ray Davies från The Kinks och andra sjungaren. Det var jätte roligt. Jag hoppas att ni har en rolig tid.

Annan utflykt

Jag for ut i går med min syster, min pappa och min farmor. Vi såg British Library (Englands nationell bibliotek), där det fanns en utställning om barnböcker.
Sedan gick vi på tunnelbanan till Hyde Park och Kensington Gardens. Där såg vi Albert Memorial, en minnesmemorial till Prins Albert och statyn av Peter Pan. Vi gick till Paddington järnvägstation och såg statyn av Björnen Paddington. Min kamera batteri var tomt så här är några webblänkar och ett foto som tas av min farmor.

Westminster Abbey och Julmarknaden i Hampstead

Hej! Margarethes pappa Jason här. Margarethe skrev den här blogg posten i December. Hon önskar alla ett gott nytt år och hoppas att ni alla haft en bra jul.

Hej, till alla människor som säser min blogg. Det har hänt mycket sen jag har skrivit. Vi gick till Westminster Abbey, som finns i Londons sentrum. Där fick vi klä oss ut som munkar. Vi råg några bilder. Dom här vig tog vid stora gordet , i mitten av Westminster Abbey.

Vi också gick till en Julmarknad. Där vi fick köpa mini donitsar som var jätte goda. Sen vi såg tre ren. De var jätte gulliga! Vi såg Jul tomtarna i et litet hus men vi gick inte in. Alt det hete Hampstead Christmas Fair, som hur do kan redan gissa, finns i Hampstead.
